All translators who apply to work with Nitro and/or on Alconost projects must first pass our examination. Only 2.5% of applicants pass the test and can work with Nitro or Alconost translations.
With Nitro, you can create your own glossary and translation memory, so that translators can be more accurate and have the opportunity to dive into the specifics of your project.
Nitro allows you to leave comments and attach images and/or interface screenshots for the translator within the order. After your order is assigned to the translator, you can leave extra comments and communicate with the translator directly.
We constantly monitor the quality of work done by our translators by reviewing customer feedback via our supervision system. Only translators with a consistently high standard of work are allowed to work in Nitro.
Here are our most frequent translation domains and content types. Our translators have experience in other areas, too.

Each translation test is verified by an editor. Only 2.5% of applicants pass the test and can then work at Alconost.

You can also integrate Nitro API to your project and request translations faster, for the following formats:
However, you can send files in any other format using the order form at https://alconost.com/order, in which case one of our agency’s managers will handle your files.
The payment options currently available in Nitro include:
We’ll send you a receipt right to your e-mail as soon as we get your payment. You can also download an invoice from your personal account if needed.

Yes, it is.
If you would like to place an order for your text to be proofread by a native speaker in Nitro, please make sure that the selected source and target languages are the same. For example, English → English [Proofreading].
A glossary is a list of terms specific to a particular subject area. For example, in business this might be the names of products and services; in gaming — the names of characters, locations, and items; and in app development — the captions of various interface elements.
Example: I want the company name Nitro to be translated from English to Japanese as Nitro (not “ニトロ”). In this case, I need to add two languages to the glossary: English and Japanese, and then add the term Nitro in both languages.
Using glossaries helps avoid the need to leave comments for the translator regarding terminology. A glossary helps ensure the consistency of translated text across multiple orders and saves you time.
Nitro supports the use of glossaries. You can create one yourself, or ask us to import a glossary that you already have. To upload your glossary, please send it to us in TBX format to nitro@alconost.com or via online chat.
Translation memory (TM) is a repository of sentence pairs comprising source and target segments. This repository is based on your prior Nitro translations.
Translation memory enables the reuse of prior translations within a project. It accelerates the localization process for translators, ensuring consistency and enhancing the quality of translations. Besides, TM can be useful for you as well – you can go to your personal account and check it anytime for quick translation of the same phrases that you have used before.
If your order contains a piece of text that will match your TM, you’ll automatically get a 70% discount on the segment of translation matching to your TM.
To upload your TM, please send it to us in TMX format to nitro@alconost.com or via online chat.
