What is AI video dubbing?
Alconost’s AI video dubbing service uses AI to replace the speech in your video with new audio in other languages (often with voice cloning so speakers still sound like themselves) plus timing, subtitles, optional lip sync, and a native-speaking linguist to review the result before delivery. It is a managed alternative to using separate DIY tools and assembling the pipeline yourself.
Which languages do you support?
We support 50+ languages for AI dubbing, including all major European, Asian, and Middle Eastern languages. Subtitle translation covers even more — check with us for specific language pairs.
How does AI dubbing quality compare to human dubbing?
For informational and marketing content, AI dubbing with voice cloning is nearly indistinguishable from human dubbing. For premium narrative content (films, games), we recommend our Pro Human Dubbing option or a hybrid approach.
What does voice cloning mean? Do you need voice samples?
We clone voices directly from your video — no separate samples needed. The AI captures each speaker's timbre, pace, and accent, then generates speech in the target language that sounds like the original speaker.
What file formats do you accept and deliver?
We accept MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, and YouTube/Vimeo links, and more on request. We deliver dubbed video (MP4), subtitle files (SRT, VTT), and optionally a version with burned-in subtitles, with other deliverables available on request.
What happens to my files and video?
We use your materials only to produce and deliver your project. Files are handled on secure systems with access limited to people working on your job. Retention follows what we need for delivery, revisions, and your records—tell us if you need a specific deletion or retention window.
